Rae Broyles

I am a painter. An artist. An author of visual poetry. There is no alternative. Color, texture, tactile adventures move me. I must freely discover new images, diabolical and vexing techniques and ways of presenting beauty while I fall away from this world and into a realm of physical and mental reverie.

 

Some of my pieces are combinations of video, painting, music and choreography or poetry and this integration of multiple mediums necessary to express life's complex beauty is what I strive for. 

 

I studied at Rhode Island School of Design with other painters and creatives that had a parallel vision of using their gift to express themselves. I have continued  and will continue to study through life. True artsistry is a constant progression.
